On 9 November 2025 I had the honour of representing the Premier at Viqarunnisa Alumni Australia's grand reunion and charity event in Bonnyrigg. Viqarunnisa Alumni Australia is the first Bangladeshi alumni association that serves to reconnect and build a network of former students of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College currently living in Australia. The school was established in 1952 in Bangladesh, where it served as an educational institution that provided education for girls. Over the past 73 years, it has become one of the renowned educational institutions in Bangladesh. Since the association's establishment in March 2017, it has been committed to reuniting alumni of this distinguished school. Their contributions vary from supporting various charity organisations to empowering individuals, including alumni who require assistance. I thank Dr Suranjana Rahman, president of the organisation, for the invitation and congratulate the members on their dedication.
