On 5 July 2024 I had the privilege of attending the monthly meeting of the Vietnamese Elderly Friendship Association. This gathering serves as a forum for elderly members to socialise and stay informed. During these meetings, senior members share their concerns and listen to experts on topics crucial to their physical and overall wellbeing. The meeting also includes musical performances featuring beloved Vietnamese songs and cultural acts, which creates a joyful and connected atmosphere for everyone involved. It is delightful to see how these gatherings foster a sense of community and bonding among the elderly residents. I also had the pleasure of presenting a number of my community recognition statement certificates to their dedicated and valuable members. On behalf of our local community, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Vietnamese Elderly Friendship Association executive members and their volunteers for their selfless dedication to their members and our local area.
