On 1 June 2024 I had the pleasure of attending the "Unity in Diversity" NDIS Expo at the William Inglis Hotel in Warwick Farm. This event was a remarkable gathering that highlighted the collective efforts of various organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the hosts—HiCom Care, Andurance Care, Skilled Health, and JPlus Care and to their sponsor, Terry White Chemmart Guildford. Their collaboration and commitment were evident in the seamless organization and engaging presentations throughout the Expo. The event was a testament to the importance of coming together to foster inclusion and support within the disability sector. The diverse range of services and resources showcased offered valuable insights and connections for attendees, reflecting a true spirit of unity and cooperation. I would also like to express my gratitude to Olga Suchodolak and Julie Nguyen for the kind invitation. Their efforts in bringing this Expo to life were truly appreciated and contributed to its overall success. The Expo served as a powerful reminder of the positive impact that dedicated organizations can make when working together towards a common goal.
