On 2 July 2024, I had the honour of hosting the Hon David Harris MP, in his capacity as the Minister for Gaming and Racing in my Electorate of Cabramatta at the Cabra-Vale Diggers Club. There were also representatives from Cabra-Vale Diggers Club, St Johns Park Bowling Club, Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club and Mounties. I also had the privilege of presenting Community Recognition Certificates to representatives of our local clubs to acknowledge their remarkable contributions made to my Electorate. Their generosity and support have been pivotal in empowering local community groups to achieve their goals, resulting in positive impacts on many individuals. Additionally, the Minister participated in a Q & A session where he provided updated and relevant information about a number of recent changes. I extend my heartfelt appreciation for the invaluable contributions and selfless commitment of our local clubs and their leaders in empowering our local communities. I would like to specially thank the Cabra-Vale Diggers Club for their excellent hospitality and support in organising this important event.
