On 25 October 2024 I had the pleasure of attending the Teachers' Guild of NSW annual dinner and presentation of awards event, which was a wonderful experience, held at the William Inglis Hotel in Warwick Farm near my electorate of Cabramatta. The event also coincided with World Teachers' Day 2024, a day dedicated to celebrating the incredible work of educators around the world. During the evening, I had the honour of presenting the World Teachers' Recognition Awards for Catholic schools. It was truly inspiring to witness the remarkable dedication and passion these educators have. I take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our teachers and educators for their unwavering commitment and hard work, and the invaluable role they play in shaping the future. Their influence extends far beyond the classroom, and the positive impact they have on students' lives is immeasurable.
