On 27 October 2023 I attended the Teachers Guild of NSW annual dinner and awards night. It was indeed a privilege to attend that celebration, alongside the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education and Early Learning, the Hon. Prue Car; and my parliamentary colleagues the member for Liverpool, the member for Leppington and the member for Fairfield. We collectively honoured the commendable achievements of our dedicated teachers and educators throughout the State. Their unwavering commitment to shaping young minds and contributing to the educational landscape of New South Wales deserves the highest praise. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the nominees and winners of this year's awards. Their passion and dedication to the noble profession of teaching are truly commendable. Their impact reverberates far beyond the classroom, shaping the future of our communities. May their inspiring efforts continue to illuminate the path of knowledge for generations to come.
