On 8 October 2024, I had the privilege of attending the Sydney Vietnamese Worker Interagency meeting in my Cabramatta electorate. This regular meeting brings together representatives from government and non-government agencies, all of whom are dedicated to providing essential social and welfare services to constituents in my electorate and surrounding areas, The meeting serves as an invaluable platform for these organisations to share their work, update each other on their activities, and explore opportunities for collaboration. I was deeply impressed by the passion and commitment demonstrated by all involved. Each agency, with their unique contributions, works harmoniously and collaboratively to support those in need within our community. This multilateral dialogue helps avoid duplication of efforts and fosters collaboration, thereby maximising the impact of their collective resources for the greater benefit of the community. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Ms Hanh Tran, representative of the Vietnamese Australian Welfare Association for the kind invitation. I commend the participating agencies for their dedication and wish them continued success.
