On the 14th of September 2025, I had the privilege of visiting the St Barnabas Anglican Church in Bossley Park, which resides in my Cabramatta Electorate. I had the privilege to meet and speak with Senior Minister, Reverand Stephen Shead, about their successful application of the Community Building Partnership grants. St Barnabas Anglican Church resides in both Fairfield and Bossley Park, with the Fairfield branch being founded during the early 1960s and the Bossley Park branch being an addition to the organisation. The organisation holds services for the local parishioners, while also hosting community events to provide a support network for the youth and members of the community that are struggling. I also had the pleasure of attending the morning service that was held by Senior Minister, Reverand Stephen Shead. Their morning sermon highlighted the importance of honouring the people that are in our daily life and how respect and upholding values are fundamental in achieving this. I congratulate the Senior Minister and the Church on their successful application and look forward to their continued contribution in providing a place of prayer and spiritual guidance to our local community.
