I had a wonderful time at the twenty-sixth annual Children's Festival in Padstow. It was truly a special occasion, and I had the pleasure of joining my friends, family and some incredible guests, including the Premier, Minister Dib, the member for East Hills—who is the local State member—and the mayor and councillors. I extend my congratulations to the Children's Festival Organisation, its founder Mr Thuat Nguyen, Dr Maria Tran and the entire organising committee on reaching this remarkable milestone. It was a wonderful occasion to celebrate 26 years of building harmony and celebrating diversity, starting with our amazing children, who are the future of our community and our State. The event was a beautiful reminder of the importance of coming together to promote understanding, inclusivity and a shared sense of belonging. I thank everyone involved for creating such an impactful and inspiring event that continues to make a difference in the lives of so many.
