MR VAN PHUOC NGUYEN, VEFA Treasurer

I recognise Mr Van Phuoc Nguyen, Treasurer of NSW Vietnamese Elderly Friendship Association(VEFA), for his outstanding contributions to my local community. Mr Nguyen came to Australia in 1981 as a refugee and became an Australian citizenship in 1985. He has always been an active volunteer in the community. He and his family volunteer their valuable time in many important and meaningful local events and community activities. Mr Nguyen began his journey with VEFA in 1997 as a volunteer and currently serves as the Treasurer of the organisation. His dedication has been indispensable in ensuring the seamless operation of VEFA, crucial for realising its mission to empower vulnerable senior residents and enhance their quality of life. Mr Nguyen is an outstanding citizen of Australia, always contributing to this country which exemplifies the value of our multicultural society. He is truly a wonderful person to work with and always pleasant to everyone around him. I commend Mr Nguyen for being an exemplary local citizen, and I thank him for all his wonderful work and selfless contributions to our community.
