MR HOANG VAN DO, VEFA Planner

21 June 2024

Mr Hoang Van Do is a dedicated individual within our community, whose contributions have been instrumental to the NSW Vietnamese Elderly Friendship Association [VEFA], a respectable community organisation, providing essential services to some thousands of Vietnamese seniors living in my electorate and the surrounding areas. Mr Do is a former soldier in the Republic of Vietnam Army before the Vietnam War ended. He arrived in Australia and became an Australian citizen about 40 years ago. Bringing with him an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, Mr Do ran a furniture business until he retired and joined VEFA as a volunteer out of a passion to support his fellow members in 2015. Mr Do serves as a planner for VEFA, utilising his meticulous attention to detail and planning skills to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. His role as a planner has been invaluable to VEFA, ensuring its programs are implemented smoothly to benefit those it serves. I recognise and thank Mr Do for his meticulous dedication and invaluable contributions to serving vulnerable members in my community.
