Dale Hunt spent his childhood on the South Coast of NSW as the child of a single mother in public housing commission. He is now a beacon of the local community in western Sydney, spanning four decades of unwavering dedication. His selfless commitment to others has manifested in myriad forms, from volunteering on local community childcare boards to coaching junior sports for three decades. Transitioning from nursing to corporate roles and eventually the Registered Club industry, Dale's imprint became indelible. As CEO of Australia's largest Registered Club, he spearheaded ground-breaking initiatives. From pioneering the first not-for-profit Intergenerational Community precinct to establishing aged care facilities and benchmark retirement villages. Under his leadership, Mounties Group got more involved in community engagement, doubling its Club Grants commitment and fostering initiatives like the SouthWest Mounties Magic netball team and philanthropic endeavours benefiting indigenous youth and at-risk communities. He also plans to inaugurate a care farm for disabled children and collaborate on constructing NSW's second palliative centre for children, ensuring families facing life-limiting conditions find solace and support within their local communities. Dale Hunt's leadership, compassion and community service enriches countless lives in my local area.
