On the morning of 10 October 2024, I had the pleasure of visiting the headquarters of CASS in Campsie, an outstanding organisation dedicated to supporting individuals across all ages in our community, from the young to the elderly, across Metropolitan Sydney and Wollongong, with an active presence in my Cabramatta Electorate. CASS plays a vital role in strengthening local communities by offering essential services such as residential aged care, disability support, childcare, and vocational training. The organisation is powered by a dedicated team of over 800 staff members and over 450 volunteers. CASS delivers crucial and tailored services to Asian communities, serving over 7000 families on a weekly basis. I extend my heartfelt thanks to CASS leadership team, Mr Henry Pan OAM – Honorary Executive Director, Mr Evan Huang – Board of Director Member, and Mr Anthony Pang OAM – Deputy Chairperson, as well as the Vietnamese team representatives Ms Tam Nguyen and Ms Giang Phan for their kind invitation and informative discussion. With exciting expansion plans underway, I look forward to CASS's growing impact and the continued benefits for my constituents.
