The Luc Hoa Buddhist Youth Association is a dedicated community organisation where the majority of members are Vietnamese language school teachers and parents. Their commitment to preserving and promoting Vietnamese language and culture among younger generations is both admirable and inspiring. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Association and advise them of the successful application of the Community and Building Partnership Program. It was a pleasure to meet the passionate volunteers and witness firsthand the positive impact they are making. The funding will go towards purchasing much-needed equipment to support the organisation's efforts, helping volunteers run teaching development workshops, organise Vietnamese language quizzes, and host award ceremonies that celebrate students' achievements. These activities enhance the quality of language education, strengthen cultural identity and community connections among Vietnamese-Australian families. It is a testament to the power of grassroots organisations and the difference they make through dedication and work. I congratulate the Luc Hoa Buddhist Youth Association on their successful grant application. Their vision and hard work are shaping a brighter future for their students and community. I look forward to seeing the continued success and positive outcomes they will bring.
