In mid 2024, I had the privilege of joining the Hon Prue Car MP, Minister for Education, to visit Les Powell School in Mount Pritchard, part of my Cabramatta electorate. It was an inspiring visit to a school that provides high-quality, individualized learning programs for students with a diverse range of complex learning and support needs. I was impressed by the commitment and dedication of the staff at Les Powell School, who work tirelessly to ensure every student receives the best possible education tailored to their unique needs. The school's inclusive environment fosters growth, learning, and empowerment. At the end of 2024, I had the pleasure of attending their end-of-year presentation, where I had the honour of helping present awards to the students. It was a joyful occasion that celebrated the hard work and achievements of the students. I was truly moved by their progress and accomplishments throughout the year. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Principal Ms. Greta McCann for the kind invitation and for coordinating the event so smoothly. I also want to express my gratitude to the teachers for their unwavering hard work and dedication.
