On the 13th of December 2023, I was delighted to attend Lansvale East Public School's End of Year Award Presentation Day. Lansvale East Public School is a small and family-oriented school, located in one of the most economically disadvantaged suburbs in my electorate. The school's continual effort to provide children of low-income households with access to adequate education is highly commendable. I had the great pleasure of personally presenting my Tri Vo MP Leadership Award to the students to recognise their outstanding leadership abilities and contributions to the school community. The Award went to Haytham El Khazaal, Kaufana Hausia, Chriselda Sinisa, Omar Al-Mir, Sarai Jimenez, Joan Babakobau, Milad Al-Zuhairi, Joshua Phillips, Genevieve Nguyen, Savaira Babakobau, Jayden Nguyen, Azon Jesuthas, Jonathan Phillips, Phoenix Arena and Toefiliga Failauga. I congratulate these students on their hard work and well-deserved achievements. I also congratulate other awards recipients, all the students, teachers, staff, parents, and the local communities on their wonderful accomplishments. I extend my special thanks to the Principal Ms Erika Ortega and the Assistant Principal Mr Teck Khoo for the kind invitation and support of the Awards.
