I recognise Charles Gream, a respected and valued community member in my electorate of Cabramatta. Born in Armidale, Charles moved to Sydney in his teens to build a new life. He then met his wife and settled in Cabramatta in the early 1970s. Proud to be a resident of Cabramatta, where diverse people and cultures live in harmony, Charles wanted to tell people the wonderful story of Cabramatta through photography. For the past decade, Charles has been out and about across the electorate tirelessly taking photos of ordinary people, everyday life events, community events, beautiful landscapes and creatures, and sharing those stories through his social media channels. Charles has a philosophy on life that he wishes to pass on to the young generations of Cabramatta. He says, "You've got to get out there, do some constructive things, be at your best and make a difference to other people's lives." I thank Charles for all his wonderful work and wish him the very best eightieth birthday.
