I recognise and acknowledge the NSW Vietnamese Elderly Friendship Association for organising the Vietnamese Family Day 2024. On this occasion we also recognised and celebrated the fiftieth and more wedding anniversaries of a number of the members. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Mr Carl Duncan Robinson and Mrs Kim-Dung Robinson on their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary. The 50‑plus years of marriage has truly stood the test of time, as two individuals came together to share responsibilities and build a life as one. This significant period established the foundation upon which everything else was built. The remarkable journey of love, mutual respect, resilience, sacrifice and countless other virtues demonstrated by our respected seniors serve as a true inspiration to us all. On this special occasion, I wish them all continued happiness, love, health and fulfilment in the years ahead.
