On Saturday 13 July 2024, I attended Bruce Lee's 51st Anniversary Memorial Event in Kogarah, a moving tribute to the legendary martial artist and cultural icon. The event was a testament to Bruce Lee's enduring legacy and his impact on martial arts and popular culture. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Master Sam Luo and the World Dragon Fans Club Australia for their kind invitation to this memorable occasion. Their dedication to honouring Bruce Lee's memory and contributions was evident throughout the event. It was also a pleasure to catch up with my friend Reverend Alfred Yau, Bruce Lee's nephew. He offered personal insights into Bruce Lee's life and his profound influence on those who knew him. The memorial event provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on Bruce Lee's achievements and the timeless values he espoused, such as perseverance, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. It was an honour to be part of such a significant event and to reconnect with friends who are dedicated to preserving and celebrating Bruce Lee's extraordinary contributions.
