On 5 November 2023 I had the honour and privilege of participating in the monthly Sunday morning breakfast at the Bonnyrigg Mosque, hosted by the Bonnyrigg Turkish Islamic Cultural Association. Alongside Vice-Consul of the Republic of Türkiye in Sydney Imam Yasin Güngör, Mr Adem Cetinay the public officer, the honorary president Dr Ali Sarfraz, and other executive members and distinguished guests, we opened the newly constructed asphalt driveway. Engaging with our multicultural communities in my electorate brings immense joy and fulfilment. It symbolises the harmonious coexistence of diverse backgrounds and also highlights the significance of shared projects and values that contribute to the betterment of our community. Such experience reinforces the value of inclusivity and understanding, affirming my commitment to actively supporting and engaging with the vibrant multicultural communities within my electorate of Cabramatta.
