On 9 November 2023 I had the honour of welcoming Prue Car, the Deputy Premier, and Minister for Education and Early Learning, to our local Bonnyrigg High School with my parliamentary colleague the member for Liverpool. Teachers, staff and students were delighted to see our Deputy Premier and Minister. We toured the school and, in a short break, we ate cakes and desserts made by the students. I commend the school principal, the relieving principal, the leadership team and the P&C president for their efforts and commitment to the education of students, and the continued improvement of the school. I had a great time listening to the school's important matters and how we can work together for the future of the school and its students. I thank the school for its kind invitation and warm hospitality.
