On 5 October 2025 I had the pleasure of meeting members of Big Heart Big Vision Incorporated. I was impressed by the extraordinary work the organisation is doing to support at‑risk youth in my Cabramatta electorate. Big Heart Big Vision provides essential support on multiple fronts, ranging from pastoral care and crisis support to mentoring and crime prevention initiatives. The core mission is to equip young people with the skills and tools they need to overcome life's challenges and build positive futures. I had the chance to announce its successful application for funding under the Community Building Partnership program. That funding supports the outreach program, which engages at-risk youth in local areas, including my Cabramatta electorate, through a transport bus and barbeque trailer. The outreach program aims to create safe, social spaces where young people can connect and access mentorship, education and employment pathways. I commend Big Heart Big Vision for its commitment to helping and empowering our local youth.
