On the 6th of April 2024, I had the pleasure of attending the Assyrian Babylonian 6,774th New Year celebration, coinciding with the momentous 45th anniversary of the Assyrian Democratic Movement (ADM). It was an honour to be part of such a significant cultural and historical event, where traditions spanning millennia were interwoven with the celebration of a vibrant and resilient community. Their dedication to preserving and promoting Assyrian heritage is commendable, and it was truly inspiring to witness the passion and enthusiasm with which they organized this memorable event. As we commemorated the Assyrian New Year and reflected on the remarkable journey of the ADM over the past four and a half decades, the sense of unity and pride among attendees was palpable. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to share in this moment of joy and look forward to continuing to celebrate the Assyrian community's cultural legacy. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr Immanuel Sada President of the Assyrian Democratic Movement for the kind invitation, and to partake in this joyous occasion.
