I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Armenian Cultural Centre and meeting with members of the Armenian National Committee of Australia in my Cabramatta Electorate. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with such a vibrant and proud community that continues to make an invaluable contribution to our multicultural society. During my visit, I was also delighted to announce their successful application of the Community Building Partnership Program, which supports local organisations in improving their facilities and services for the benefit of the community. The funding provided will go towards upgrading essential equipment at the Armenian Cultural Centre, including the installation of a new sound and public address system, a commercial refrigerator, and enhancements to the common area. These improvements will make a real difference to the Centre's operations, creating a more functional and welcoming space for all visitors. The upgrades will especially benefit the Centre's programs for senior citizens, youth, and families, ensuring that community members can continue to gather, celebrate, and support one another in a comfortable and inclusive environment. I look forward to seeing these upgrades strengthen the Centre's capacity to serve our local community.
