On 13 December 2024, I had the honour of attending the Arete Health Care (Lansdowne Aged Care) Christmas Dinner and Staff Recognition Event 2024. Aged care is an essential service in our community to ensure individuals receive the respect and support required to live their lives in older age. It is important that we all recognise the dedication of aged care staff members for all their hard work and dedication they provide every single day. These workers work tirelessly to provide not only physical but also social and emotional support to the aged care residents whom they care for. I would like to thank Nam Pham and the Team from Arete Health Care (Lansdowne Aged Care) for inviting me to their Christmas Dinner and Staff Recognition Event 2024. Thank you to the event organisers for the wonderful evening and to the venue for the amazing food. I wish Arete Health Care (Lansdowne Aged Care) and all their staff a happy and safe Christmas and all the very best for the new year ahead.
