On 23 August 2024, I had the privilege of attending a special Annual Gala organized by Pal Buddhist School in Canley Vale. This year's event held particular significance as it marked the final year of the Founding Principal, Mr. Pal, before he embarks on his long-anticipated journey to ordain as a monk next year. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and gratitude as students, parents, and staff came together to celebrate Mr. Pal's remarkable contributions to the school and the community. His leadership has not only shaped the school's educational framework but also instilled values of compassion and mindfulness in the students. The event also highlighted Mr. Pal's dedication and vision, reminding us all of the profound impact he has made over the years. It was a touching farewell, filled with well-wishes for his new journey. I want to extend my sincerest thanks for the kind invitation to this meaningful gathering. As Mr. Pal prepares for this significant transition, I wish him all the very best in his future endeavours. I hope to see him back in Sydney in the near future.
