On 19 September 2024, I had the privilege of attending the 30th Anniversary celebration of 2CR Chinese Radio, a momentous occasion for both the station and the community it serves. As Australia's first 24/7 Chinese radio station, 2CR has played a pivotal role in connecting and supporting the Chinese Australian community for three decades. With an impressive online presence of over 280,000 unique followers in 2023, 2CR has not only kept pace with the evolving media landscape but has enriched the lives of countless individuals by providing news, entertainment, and cultural programming. This remarkable milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the team behind 2CR. I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved in this incredible journey. Your commitment to delivering quality content and fostering connections within the Chinese Australian community is commendable. As we look to the future, I am excited to see how 2CR will continue to grow and adapt, serving as a cornerstone for our community and a vital link to people's cultural heritage.
